Masig Island

Your adventure begins with an overnight stop at beautiful Masig Island staying at Lowatta Lodge. This secluded and picturesque lodge is the perfect spot to relax before your fishing adventure.

After breakfast, it’s time to get ready for the fishing trip of a lifetime. Your adventure includes casting poppers at untouched coral reef edges for monster Giant Trevally and Coral Trout.

Get ready to feel the rush of adrenaline as you reel in these powerful fish. These stunning locations are home to some of the biggest fish you will ever catch.

In addition to Giant Trevally and Coral Trout, our trips offer the opportunity to target powerful pelagic species including Mackerel, Mahi Mahi and Tuna. These fish are fast and powerful, providing an exhilarating fight that will test your skills as an angler.

If reef fishing is your thing, we offer the chance to jig or drop baits on unfished deep-water reefs for non- stop action on a huge variety of hard fighting reef fish including Nannygai and Red Emperor. These species are abundant in the Torres Strait, making it the perfect location for reef fishing.

But that’s not all – we also offer the opportunity to challenge your ability with night-time wreck fishing for Mangrove Jack, Fingermark and Jewfish. These fish are known for their fighting spirit, and night- time fishing adds an extra level of excitement to the experience.

In between fishing sessions, we offer the chance to visit uninhabited tropical islands to enjoy mind blowing inshore sport fishing. These locations are home to some of the most beautiful and pristine waters in the world, making them the perfect spot for some relaxing fishing.

At night, we anchor in sheltered and scenic anchorages, allowing you to relax and recharge for the next day’s fishing adventure. And for those who want to add an extra element of excitement to their trip, we offer the opportunity to free dive for fresh Tropical Rock Lobster (aka ‘Crayfish’).

Our package includes all flights from Cairns with breathtaking views of the northern Great Barrier Reef. The scenic flight is the perfect way to start your adventure, providing a glimpse of the beauty of the area you will be fishing in.
